As you can see from the image above, setting goals can have huge benefits. Most of you have been at the MS now for at least a marking period and have received marking period grades. Some of you have done well, some of you not so well. But, the point is, that all of you, doing well or not, need to set goals because of these benefits above. This is your opportunity to plan and set some of you own goals which will be saved in here and updated every once in a while or as you see fit. A few things about goals...

Short term goals are those that you set for yourself that you can reach within 1-3 months. Examples would be:

Long term goals are those that are beyond a year and could be considered "lifetime" should you want to set any that far into the future. Examples of these would be:

All goals should have three qualities:
1. They should be realistic
2. They should be clear
3. They should be short without too many details

Take some time now to plan at least two short term and two long term goals. You may plan more, however your requirement for this is to have at least two of each. Make sure that once you have created your goals that you save them by clicking on the gray Save Goals tab at the bottom of the page.
